When Moms ask me what they need to wear for their Fresh 48 session I ALWAYS suggest a cute robe! Less is more so keep the color neutral and the design simple – although I’m completely fine if you break the rules and wear a show stopper floral robe. 

The colors I think work best for family photos are nude/tan, cream, gray and blush.  Remember, the focus is the new baby and we don’t want bright colors and busy prints that may be distracting. Also, I know you may not feel so glamorous after having a baby but do not worry. I only photograph using the most flattering angles and light to bring out the natural beauty in you and your family. 

My goal is to make families as comfortable as possible during their Fresh 48 session. I like to encourage natural interactions and raw, real moments as I stand on the outside looking in. I’ll never pose you, BUT I’ll be super friendly and guide you to interact with each other. My focus is to capture images of your little one’s first yawns, first feedings, their tiny & perfect newborn features, and also quiet moments between you and your newborn in a fresh, natural way.
